What is Bank Statements

This is a statement from the bank showing details of all transactions that occurred in a bank account for a period. Bank statements are issued monthly or three monthly and can be requested via the bank for any period of time. You can also get a statement via an ATM. It starts with an opening balance, followed by all the transactions and charges, and then it ends with the closing balance.
