What is Sweat equity

This is where an individual contributes to a business via their skill, time and effort. When a business starts up not all the shareholders or partner will contribute capital and may contribute a smaller proportion of the capital. As opposed to financial equity they provide sweat equity, which can be in addition to financial equity.
