Business Terms and Jargon Explained

What is Visa

This document gives an individual the legal right to be in a country. This may be for a specific period of time and for a specific purpose. The two main types are a working visa and a tourist visa. This is given to visitors to the UK when travelling from another country. A visa will normally be needed to enter the country unless the two countries have an agreement. No visa is needed when travelling from one EU country to another.
