What is Sort code
Sort codes are bank and branch identifiers. It comprises of six digits in three pairs e.g. 65-43-21 with a hyphen between the pairs. The first pair is to identify the bank and other 2 pairs identifies the branch, location and where account was opened. To transfer money from one bank account to another you need the sort code and their bank account number to transfer the funds too.
